Some things, some places, some experiences and some people are better left in the past, never to adjust, rebirth, resurface nor try again.
Don't just close a chapter, close the book.
-- Miss JelC
There is a reason that book [not chapter] of life was closed. It doesn't need to be reopened, for in reopening may come worse effects than before. So, leave the past alone and embrace the present while looking forward to a better, great, awesome future.
It was the great Roman, Apostle Paul who encouraged us that we ought to forget those things, experiences, people and circumstances behind us and press ahead for the mark of the higher calling which is in Christ Jesus -- Highest Being to ever wall this earth.
Ever wanted a chance to right a wrong or find closure after experiencing deep hurt, shame, disappointment or even rejection? I know I did; and it always seemed impossible. The minute, HOWEVER, we truly let go of the past, and let God in on our insecurities about where we were or what we did or allowes, God who sees our hearts and knows our thoughts before a word was on tongues, steps in and provides just the right nudge to finally close the book.
DECLARATION TIME:
I declare, call forth and speak into your psychy, spirit, and body the #POWER to leave the dead things of your past alone and the desire, will and strength to choose life and progress ... for you shall move on, even when you feel weak and unable to, for when your strength comes from God -- the strong and gentle One who knows you fully and well. Press Forward in the Name of Jesus.
MEDITATE ON THIS:
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:8-9, 13 KJV
